Our Mission
Educational Support Services
The Educational Support Services (ESS) Department at the Shasta County Office of Education (SCOE) provides high-quality service and support to help districts build effective systems that enable students to thrive.
Our department collaborates with teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, and education leaders at both the school and district levels to foster systematic, sustainable improvement processes. We emphasize capacity-building by developing the knowledge and skills educators need to analyze data, identify trends, and implement research-based practices that drive positive outcomes.
Through this collaborative approach, we support schools and districts in establishing continuous learning cycles to improve instruction, strengthen leadership, and create student-centered environments. Our commitment to sharing current, evidence-based strategies ensures that our educational partners are equipped to meet the evolving needs of students, educators, and communities across Shasta County.
