Professional Development Center

The Shasta County Office of Education's Professional Development Center is a hub for educational training and lifelong learning opportunities. SCOE partners with districts and community organizations to host a variety of events.

Shasta Leadership Academy

The Shasta Leadership Academy works to empower local educators to pursue a career in school leadership. Tier 1 preliminary administrative credential and Tier 2 clear administrative credential programs are offered.

Native Lessons are Released

The Shasta County Office of Education has partnered with local tribes to develop lessons around local Native American history.  These lessons can be used across several grade levels and multiple subjects.

Positive Behavior Intervention Systems

PBIS is a research based approach to behavior management at the school level.  PBIS is nationally recognized and proven to impact school culture in a positive way.  Our PBIS team works with more than 20 Shasta County Schools to improve student behavior outcomes.
